The Magisterial Inquiry pertaining to the recent abduction of a youth in Dematagoda was taken up today before Colombo Additional Magistrate Mohammed Mihal.

UNP MP Hirunika Premachandra and eight other suspects appeared in court for the hearing.

The Additional Magistrate ordered the University of Moratuwa to submit an analytical report on the CCTV footage pertaining to the abduction, and the footage of a media conference called by Premachandra.

The case was fixed for January 26.
