The inaugural Cabinet meeting of the newly appointed Ministers will take place today at the President's Office.

This marks the first official gathering of the Cabinet since its members were sworn in on November 18, 2024. The ceremony was presided over by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

The new Cabinet, representing the government of the National People's Power, is composed of a diverse group, including seven university professors, two doctors, a lawyer, an engineer, and seven other graduates.
