Employees of Swarnavahini have staged a protest today (04) demanding an immediate increase in salaries for the employees of Swarnavahini media company belonging to the EBC media network and to stop the idue influence of Sudewa Hettiarachchi, the Presidential Media Director on the employees immediately.

The protecting employees have hung placards on the gates of their office.

Hettiarachchi was the CEO of Swarnavahini before he took up the position as the Media Director to the President.

The employees allege that Hettiarachchi still controls the privately-owned TV station through his channels of influence.
