Parliamentarians in Sri Lanka will receive the COVID19 vaccination tomorrow at the Army Hospital.

Accordingly, they will be among the first group from the public to receive the vaccine.

Our sources said the Seargent-at-Arms had informed all Parliamentarians to be present at the Army Hospital tomorrow to receive the vaccine.

Two former Parliamentarians, namely W.J.M. Lokubandara and Dr. Neville Fernando, have died due to COVID19 so far.

President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has directed the Army Commander to begin a mass vaccination programme from tomorrow onwards, starting from the Western province.
