The Commissioner General of Examinations, Amith Jayasundara, said that G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) candidates impacted by severe weather can now sit for their exams at the nearest available centers.
Candidates requiring assistance are urged to contact the Disaster Management Centre (DMC) hotline at ‘117’ for guidance and support.
In collaboration with the DMC, arrangements have been made to ensure candidates can continue their exams without disruption. Examination centers have been instructed to accommodate students facing delays due to weather-related traffic disruptions.
Authorities said that all necessary measures are being taken to safeguard the fairness and accessibility of the ongoing A/L examinations.
