Sri Lanka Tawheed Jamaat Secretary Abdul Razik was further remanded till December 9 for his statements which allegedly incited communal hatred.

Razik's request for bail was rejected by Colombo Additional Magistrate Chandana Kalansooriya when the case was taken up yesterday. The Colombo Crimes Division said that the investigations have not been concluded.

Meanwhile, the aggrieved party made a request from the CCD to charge Razik under the International Convention on Civil and Political Rights Act for inciting communal hatred.
