Minister of Provincial Council and Local Government Faizer Mustapha today at the Parliament said that they were not ready to postpone the Local Government election due to any circumstance.

He stated this answering a question raised by the opposition MP Dinesh Gunawardhane regarding the postponement of the LG poll.

Further adding that he is not attempting to postpone the election, the minister pointed out the possibility of holding the election soon after the appeal process on delimitation report is finished.
