Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will leave Sri Lanka today, to attend to the World Economic Forum which will be held in Davos Klosters, Switzerland.
Prime Minister will be engaging with international investor community during his visit, towards possible investment projects in Sri Lanka. Over 40 heads of state will be attending to World Economic Forum.
Wickremesinghe will be accompanied by the Minister of Finance Ravi Karunanayake, Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade Malik Samarawickrama, Secretary to the Prime Minister Saman Ekanayake, Governor of the Central Bank Arjun Mahendran, Additional Secretary Saman Athaudahetti and Personal Assistant to the Prime Minister Ms. Sandra Perera.
This is the first time Sri Lanka has been invited to participate in WEF. The Forum will focus this year on new trends within the global economic sphere.
