Human Rights Commission Sri Lanka sources said that police officers who were accused regarding the death of Embilipitiya youth had been notified to arrive before Human Rights Commission to obtain statements.

Human Rights Commission had recorded statements regarding the incident, from the residents of the area. A special team had arrived in Embilipitiya to conduct the investigations yesterday (18th), sources said.

Decision of the Commission is to be published once the police officers’ statements are recorded.
