University of Moratuwa Vice Chancellor had announced the IT Faculty students to vacate the hostels.

Vice Chancellor Ananda Jayawardene had announced that university premises and hostels are out of bounds for students of Faculty of Information Technology, from today with immediate effect until further notice.

Faculty of Information Technology of Moratuwa University was closed indefinitely after student protests against the suspension of 11 students.
