Sri Lanka strongly condemns the terrorist attack which took place in Jakarta yesterday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

The Government of Sri Lanka extends Condolences to the families of the victims who died in the incident, the Foreign Affairs Ministry also said in a statement.

Furthermore, Sri Lanka reiterated its strong commitment to work with the international community including Indonesia to eradicate the scourge of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

The terror attack in Jakarta yesterday left seven people including five attackers dead and 20 people injured.
