Colombo Fort Magistrate Priyantha Liyanage issued an order to six medical student activists, prohibiting them from entering the Presidential Secretariat or its vicinity in an aggressive manner.

The order was given at the request of the Colombo Fort Police.

The medical students have launched a protest march towards Fort. Heavy traffic was reported from the area as several roads were closed. Riot police was also seen near the Presidential Secretariat.
