Student who assaulted Assistant Principal of a school in Labuduwa remanded till 18th January.

The student had assaulted Assinstant Principal Indika Manoj with a wicket stump.

Investigations revealed that student had allegedly assaulted the Assistant Principal to express his anger when he was admonished to cut his inappropriately long hair and dress more decent in appearance.

Galle Magistrate Nilupuli Lankapura ordered the student to be further remanded.
