Today's Parliamentary session will feature over 175 new faces, marking a significant shift in Sri Lanka’s political landscape following this year's election.
A large portion of these first-time Members of Parliament (MPs) hail from the National People's Power.
To assist these newcomers, a series of workshops will be held on November 25th, 26th, and 27th. The sessions will provide MPs with an in-depth understanding of parliamentary procedures and operational processes.
Kushani Rohanadheera, General Secretary of Parliament, said that all necessary information will be shared with the new MPs during these workshops.
