Legal Action to Be Taken Against Those Failing to Return Civilian Firearms

The Ministry of Defence will take legal  action against individuals who fail to return firearms currently in civilian hands by the set deadline.

A senior official from the Ministry confirmed that any firearms not returned by November 21, or for which no formal appeal has been made, will be considered illegal. The ministry holds detailed records of all firearms issued and their owners, ensuring strict enforcement of the directive.

The official also stressed that legal measures will be taken against those who ignore the deadline.
