The Police Special Task Force (STF) arrested a 44-year-old woman involved in trafficking intoxicating pills targeting schoolchildren. The arrest took place following a tip-off received by officers from the Gonahena Police STF camp.

The woman, a resident of the Webada area, was found with 230 intoxicating pills intended for sale to schoolchildren at the time of her arrest. She has been handed over to the Kadawatha Police for further investigation.
