The Colombo Magistrate’s Court has issued an arrest warrant for newly elected Jaffna District MP Archchuna Ramanathan after he failed to appear in court.

The warrant pertains to a 2021 case involving a road accident on Baseline Road. Ramanathan is accused of causing the accident and allegedly assaulting another motorist, resulting in serious injuries.
