Sri Lanka Police have appealed to the public for assistance in capturing five individuals wanted in connection with the theft of 37 kilograms of gold in Kalpitiya.
The suspects, accused of abducting an individual before making off with the valuable haul in November last year, have reportedly evaded authorities and fled their residences.
The Kalpitiya Magistrate’s Court has identified the suspects, urging anyone with information regarding their whereabouts to contact the Police at 071 8591763 or 071 8594916. This call for public support underscores ongoing efforts to bring the perpetrators to justice and recover the stolen assets.
