In Hakmana, a 21-year-old fell victim to a familial dispute, losing his life to an attack by his uncle over an unresolved conflict. The assailant has reportedly fled the area.
In Elayapaththuwa, a 37-year-old man met a tragic end during a heated argument among individuals consuming alcohol. Investigations led to the arrest of a 43-year-old suspect.
Lastly, in Serunuwara, a 41-year-old man was fatally attacked over an extramarital affair, allegedly by the spouse of the woman involved. The suspect, a 30-year-old resident, is being pursued by Serunuwara Police.
