The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) has designated MP Nalin Bandara to oversee the forthcoming debate between Opposition and SJB Leader Sajith Premadasa and National Peoples Power (NPP) Leader MP Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
In a recent statement, MP Bandara disclosed that May has been suggested as the ideal timeframe for the public debate.
Initially, discussions will commence between the economic councils of both parties, followed by a debate between the respective party leaders.
