The Cabinet of Ministers has greenlit the inclusion of local students into the MBBS medical degree program at General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, effective this year. Minister Bandula Gunawardena, the Cabinet Spokesman, revealed that admissions will be fee-based and determined by the 'Z' score at G.C.E. Advanced Level and other qualifications.
