The High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka engaged in a diplomatic meeting with Basil Rajapaksa, the former Finance Minister and founder of Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP), yesterday.

The discussion centered around bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as pertinent political developments and other matters of mutual interest.

Both parties exchanged views in an effort to strengthen ties and foster cooperation between India and Sri Lanka.
