A shooting incident rocked the Idamboda area of Ambalangoda on Thursday morning.

Witnesses reported that two individuals on a motorcycle fired weapons before fleeing the scene.

Fortunately, the gunfire only caused damage to a residential property, notably a house wall.

No injuries were reported in the incident. The Ambalangoda police have launched an investigation into the matter to apprehend the culprits and ensure community safety.
