The Meteorology Department has issued a forecast indicating showers or thundershowers in several regions of Sri Lanka. According to the department, these conditions are likely to occur in the evening or night in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces, as well as in the Galle and Matara districts.

However, the rest of the island is expected to experience mainly dry weather.

Additionally, misty conditions are anticipated in certain areas of the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces, as well as in the Galle and Matara districts during the morning hours.
