The Ministry of Power and Energy has taken steps to start a program of providing a fuel quota under the QR system for special categories such as lawn mowers and power generators from the end of this month.

Dasun Hagoda, director of the ICTA said that the related technical work is currently underway.

The decision has been made to provide those using machines due to requests made by consumers the Ministry said.
