A tense situation was reported in a fuel station in Maspotha, Kurunegala, this afternoon with motorists claiming that the shed was hoarding fuel stocks. 

The motorists insisted that they must check the underground storage of the fuel station. 

However, the police then arrived at the location brought the situation under control. The police, however, were seen handhandling at least two motor cyclists when trying to quel the situation.
