All MPs have been permitted to obtain fuel from the fuel station operated by the police in Narahenpita.

The police fuel station has been established to service police vehicles. However, under the current circumstances, parliamentarians have been allowed to purchase fuel from the fuel station operated by the police.

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) directly supplies fuel to the Police Department’s fuel station. This decision will allow MPs to obtain fuel without any difficulty while ordinary citizens languish in queues for several hours.
