The Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka has denied rumors spread on social media that certain political persons and their families have fled to India.

The rumors circulated on social media said they had fled the country using helicopters provided by the Indian Government.

The Indian HC said those reports were fake and the High Commission strongly denied them.
