Minister of State Kanchana Wijesekera said in Parliament today that Ali Sabri, PC, will continue as the Minister of Finance as the President has not accepted his resignation.

Ali Sabry tendered his letter of resignation a day after he was appointed the Minister of Finance.

Wijesekera was responding to a question raised by Samagi Jana Balawega MP Dr. Harsha de Silva regarding the Minister of Finance.
