The distribution of Litro Gas has been suspended due to shortage of stocks, a senior official of the company told media this morning.

The official said that the reason for this situation was the inability to release the two gas ships that arrived in Sri Lanka two weeks ago and had been in discussions with the authorities for two weeks to obtain dollars for this purpose.

The suspension of Litro Gas distribution is a direct result of the foreign exchange crisis faced by Sri Lanka at the moment.
