Despite multiple asurances issued by the Government, people across the country allege that there are restrictions on getting fuel from petrol stations.

They also say that there are restrictions on obtaining fuel at petrol stations at Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 2,000 each. However, no official resttriction on issuance of fuel has been announced by the Government.

People say that a maximum of Rs. 1,000 worth fuel will be issued for a motorcycle and a maximum of Rs. 2,000 worth fuel for cars and buses.

People also say that they have to face great difficulties due to such restrictions as this results in long queues near fuel stations.
