The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) has decided to attend a meeting in Colombo, where constituent parties of the government will unveil a set of "alternative proposals" to address the current crisis.
The meeting is expected to take place on March 02.
A special discussion in this regard was held under the patronage former President Maithripala Sirisena at his official residence last night (23) and was also attended by the leaders of the constituent parties.
The SLFP is the largest constituent party within the ruling coalition with 14 MPs.
