The full verdict given by the Colombo High Court exonerating former Defence Ministry Secretary Hemasiri Fernando and former IGP Pujith Jayasundara from security lapses leading to the Easter Sunday attacks is as follows.

Jayasundara and Fernando held key responsibilities in the Defence apparatus when the attacks took place. However, the Colombo High Court acquitted both Fernando and Jayasundara of all charges relating to the case.
