Minister of Highways Johnston Fernando has reportedly instructed the members of the Board of Directors including the Chairmen of all the institutions under the Ministry to resign.

It is learned that the heads of the Maga Neguma, the Road Development Authority, the Maga Neguma Consultancy Company and the Expressway Transport Company, which are under the Ministry, are due to resign in the near future.

According to informed sources, the decision has been made to expedite the ongoing activities carried out by the Ministry.

The Ministry of Media also appointed new heads to the institutions coming under the purview of the Ministry.
