Bodu Bala Sena General Secretary Galagodaaththe Gnanasara Thera says he will mobilise the Mahanayake Theras against the Presidential Commission of Inquiry report on the Easter Sunday attacks.

Gnanasara Thera yesterday met the leading monks of the Asgiriya Chapter in Kandy and explained to them that the PCOI report on the Easter Sunday attacks was "flawed". The Buddhist monk said they would continue to interact with the leading monks in the country and present their case.

The BBS General Secretary said their attempts to curtail the activities of extremist groups had boomeranged on the organisation.

Gnanasara Thera the findings of the PCOI report on Easter Sunday would not solve the root causes of extremism in Sri Lanka.

The commission report has recommended to ban a number of extremist and ultra-nationalist organisations such as the Bodu Bala Sena.
