Former UNP MP Navin Dissanayake said he would not accept the National Organizership of the party, which was decided to be placed under him by the party Wokring Committee.
In a letter to UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe, Dissanayake requested his party leader to appoint any other sutable person to the post.
Dissanayake, however, has made it cleart that he will not leave the party or extend his suppport to any other political movement.
He will continue as the District Leader of Nuwaraeliya for the UNP and a member of the party Working Committee.
It is reported that Dissanayake is deeply dissatisfied with the recent appointments made by the party Working Commitee to some UNP positions.
