Piyal Nishantha Who Was Among Group Of Government MPs Who Publicly Consumed “Dhammika Peniya” Tests Positive For COVID19

State Minister Piyal Nishantha who consumed the controversial “Dhammika Peniya” in public has tested positive for COVID19.

Nishantha was among the government members who consumed the controversial local cure for COVID19 with Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena in the Parliamentary premises.

The State Minister was detected with the virus following a rapid antigen test.

Nishantha is the fourth Sri Lankan MP to be tested positive for the virus. Dayasiri Jayasekera, Vasudewa Nanayakkara and Rauff Hakeem are currently under medical observation after being detected with COVID19.
