Attorney General Dappula de Livera has sent a note of clarification to the Singapore Attorney General today on the Sri Lanka’s extradition request of Arjun Mahendran in the controversial Bond scam case, official said.

Coordination Officer of the Attorney General State Counsel Nishara Jayarante said the clarification note was sent following the discussions held with the Singapore Attorney General with regard to the extradition of Mahendran.

She said the Singapore Government was still considering the extradition request.

She also said that the AG had already informed Justice Ministry Secretary that the extradition request of Arjun Mahendran is still pending.

Arjuna Mahendran has been wanted to Sri Lanka in connection with the Central Bank bond scam.
