Health Services Director General Dr. Anil Jasinghe expressed confidence that the current cluster within the Navy would be contained in the coming days.

"However, health and law enforcement authorities are keeping a close eye on the contacts of the infected members of the military forces," he said issuing a statement.

Jasinghe also stated that no one was able to predict the spread of the disease, under the current circumstances.

However, he assured that every possible step had been taken to control the expansion of the current clusters.
