Health authorities said 08 more people tested positive for COVID-19.

Total confirmed COVID-19 cases in Sri Lanka now stands at 619, the Ministry of Health said.

The new cases were reported from the "Navy cluster" and those who were under quarantine, informed health sources added.

There is still uncertainty on whether the current lockdown in high-risk districts can be lifted on May 04.
