Discussions are currently underway to make a final decision on the lifting of curfew on Monday in high-risk districts, informed police sources said.

They added that the final decision in this regard would be announced today or tomorrow.

The Police on Saturday morning announced that the curfew in high-risk districts would be lifted on Monday. However, the final decision will depend on the number of patients reported over the weekend.

The highest number of COVID19 patients in Sri Lanka was reported on Friday, bringing the final total to 420.
