The Chinese Embassy stated that a special flight from China with 20064 test kits (PCR) for COVID19 patients will arrive in Sri Lanka tonight.

The gesture will significantly increase Sri Lanka's testing capacity for suspected COVID19 cases,

The Sri Lanka Medical Association (SLMA), Ceylon College of Physicians and Sri Lanka College of Microbiologists have collectively requested the government to Increase the RT-PCR testing capacity to 1500 tests per day.
