A university administrator was remanded until April 01 by the Colombo Fort Magistrate for spreading malicious information on the Corona outbreak in Sri Lanka.

He was arrested earlier today by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).

The Police have warned strict action against those spreading misinformation about COVID19.
