The Police have commenced a fresh service for those facing problems with power breakdowns, medical requirements and other emergencies.

DIG Ajith Rohana said the public can call police hotlines or health issues, power and water breakdowns, medicine requirements and other emergencies:.

Rohana said the emergency hotline 119 and numbers 0112444480/81 have been made available for this service.

A task force, headed by former Minister Basil Rajapaksa, has been appointed to look into the consumer needs of the public during the times of curfew.
