Elections Commission Chairman Mahinda Desapriya said the Parliamentary election could not be held on April 25.

The date of election will be announced on 25 March, the Elections Commission Chairman said.

"COVID19 will decide when we can hold the election again. First, we must eradicate this disease," Deshapriya said.
