Former Prime Minister and UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe has left for Dubai last night.

The move comes at the height of the leadership crisis within the UNP.

It is not immediately clear as to why the UNP Leader suddenly left overseas.

Although there was a Working Committee meeting last evening to resolve the current issue, the Premadasa group boycotted the meeting.
