Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa is currently launching the 'Samagi Jana Balawegaya' alliance at the Nelum Pokuna Theatre, Colombo 07.

United National Front party leaders Rishad Bathiudeen, Rauff Hakeem, Patali Champika Ranawaka and V. Digambaram are in the audience attending the launch of the rally.

The majority of UNP parliamentary group are also attending the event, pledging their support to Premadasa's alliance.

However, UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe, General Secretary Akila Viraj Kariyawasam and the group supporting Wickremesinghe are not attending the ceremony.
