Two Sri Lankans who arrived from Italy have been admitted to the IDH with signs of fever and coughing.

They are currently being tested for Corona virus symptoms, hospital authorities said.

Sri Lanka has so far seen only one Corona virus patient - a 43-year-old Chinese tourist who completely recovered from the illness.

Strict monitoring measures are underway to screen passengers entering into the country from the Katunaike Bandaranaike International Airport.
