Cabinet Spokesman Bandula Gunawardena said the Millenium Challenge Cooperation (MCC) agreement would not be signed in the current form.

He said the government would discuss with the US on amending the current agreement.

He also added that Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa presented the preliminary report of the experts committee on the MCC agreement to the Cabinet.

The final report of the committee is due in four months.
