Nagananda Kodithuwakku who "disappeared" after the announcement of the last Presidential election has returned to the public spotlight with a new party.

Kodithuwakku raised a staggering amount of money claiming that he would contest the Presidential election aiming to abolish the entire constitution. However, after the election was announced, Kodithuwakku disappeared from the public domain.

No proper explanation was given as to what happened to the money he raised to contest the election.

This time, Kodithuwakku has formed a new organization called 'Sri Lanka Winiwida Peramuna' (Sri Lanka Transparency Front). The party is yet to receive formal approval from the Elections Commission.

Kodithuwakku now says he will contest the upcoming Parliamentary election from the new front.
